9 . Position of the author.
After long-term
refusals in exhibiting "War Autographs” series, and later (the beginning of
"perestroika”) numerous expositions and publications of this series, convinced
me that there are two opinions on my portraits of disabled veterans:
patriotic and antiwar-humanistic. That is why such difficult destiny has my
series. Now this series is acquired by the Museum on Poklonnaya Gora, and
that speaks about overweight of the second look.
